A great time of the year to unwind!

Sitting at my desk. House is quiet. The grandson and Grandma’ Sue must have fallen to sleep as Sue was putting Thomas to sleep by reading Thomas his book.

I’m warm and toasty. Sitting in my easy chair/desk chair drifting in and out of sleep as the cats take their turns waking me by jumping on my chest as I recline.

Everyday I thank God for the good fortune he has bestowed upon me. A great family, a job I love to work at, and the many good friends Sue and I have known over the years. I never forget that all of this would not be possible without Him.

I look at what surrounds me when I step outside any time of the year and I am in awe of His creation. From the clouds and blue skies, to the warmth of the sun, the green of the trees and the wonderment of each and every sunrise and sunset.

He truly is a Master as the artist can only capture what the eye can see, whereas the Master & our Creator saw more than we can ever hope too and yet, he gave it all to us to behold.

Psalm 50:10-11 “For every beast of the forest is Mine, The cattle on a thousand hills. “I know every bird of the mountains, And everything that moves in the field is Mine.

Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

Praise God and remember that this is the time of the year when we rejoice at the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ the son of God. God’s greatest gift to us. May you keep Jesus in your heart, and in your life forever. For he is the way to Father.

Merry Christmas!
